The MAX PA1 Series amplifiers are next-generation, high-efficiency, Class D full-range amplifiers - perfectly engineered with select, high-quality components and innovative design features that guarantee long-term, maximum output performance.
VCC- OPTIMIZED AIR FLOW
The unique extruded aluminum heat sink with a reinforced A-Star backplate has additional thermal features designed to optimize and control temperature. The GAS VCC (Vented Cross Cooling) system ensures that cool air constantly flows forward over the components and pushes the hot air out through the thermal vents on the opposite side of the cabinet.
HIGH QUALITY & VERSATILITY
The advanced, full Class-D circuitry on the 4-layer PCB allows the connection of any type of speaker - subwoofers, drivers, tweeters or coaxial speakers. The high pass/band pass filter is adjustable between 15 and 6,000 Hz, and the low pass filter is adjustable from 50 Hz to 6,000 Hz. For fine-tuning the bass frequencies (45 Hz), there is a bass EQ level control from 0 to 12 dB.
POWER MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL
The powerful, continuous output power of the MAX PA1 series is made possible by a high-voltage stabilized power supply that fully monitors voltage fluctuations in the car battery. The amplifiers also feature a 4-fold protection circuit system: overheating protection, short-circuit protection, overload protection and switch-on delay. Setting (and maintaining) the correct output level is optimized by the clip LEDs on the amplifier. No clip light means that the distortion is below 1% - anything above that activates the advanced protection circuitry.
SIZE IS IMPORTANT
The use of correctly sized cables improves current flow. The MAX PA1-500.4DZ1 is equipped with oversized 8AWG (10 mm²) speaker outlets and actual sized 0AWG (50 mm²) power and ground connections designed for maximum performance.
