The Ground Zero GZIF 4.0 is a compact 100-mm coaxial speaker designed for in-vehicle use. Thanks to the combination of a mid-bass driver and a centrally mounted tweeter, this 2-way system covers a wide frequency range and is suitable both for replacing stock car speakers and for custom car audio installations.
The lightweight HQPP diaphragm with a 3D structure combines low weight with the stability required for everyday use. A rubber surround supports controlled diaphragm movement, while the low-resonance steel basket provides a solid foundation for the speaker.
A 13-mm Mylar tweeter is used to reproduce high frequencies. It is driven by a 6-dB/octave high-pass filter. With an impedance of 4 ohms, the GZIF 4.0 can be used with many standard car stereos and car hi-fi amplifiers.
The speaker system can handle 60 watts RMS and up to 100 watts peak. With a sensitivity of 89 dB and a frequency range from 70 Hz to 20 kHz, this compact 10-cm system provides a well-balanced foundation for in-car music playback. The package also includes protective grilles featuring a distinctive hexagonal design.
