GZPA 2SQ

The Ground Zero GZPA 2SQ is designed for high-end car audio systems that require not only high output power but, above all, precise and high-quality music reproduction. This 2-channel amplifier combines a discrete MOSFET amplifier section with a high-performance power supply and extensive options for customization to the connected speaker system.

With up to 2 x 500 watts RMS at 1 ohm, the GZPA 2SQ offers ample power reserves for powerful front-firing systems, subwoofers, or other demanding speaker configurations. In bridged mode, it can deliver up to 1,000 watts RMS at 2 ohms.

A key feature is the variable BIAS control. This allows you to adjust the operating point of the amplifier circuit and fine-tune the amplifier for sound-oriented playback. Adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters, as well as phase control, are also available for flexible system configuration. The Pure-Direct mode allows the internal filter section to be bypassed if, for example, signal processing is already being handled by an external DSP.

The wide frequency range from 10 Hz to 50 kHz makes the amplifier an attractive option even for high-end high-resolution audio systems. High-quality components, including special Mundorf capacitors, as well as the massive heat sink, underscore the design’s consistent focus on sound quality.
