The Ground Zero GZIW 12XSPL-D2 PINK is a powerful 30-cm subwoofer from the IRIDIUM series, designed for high-impact car audio applications and high volume levels. The eye-catching Pink Edition combines the SPL-oriented construction of the GZIW 12XSPL-D2 with a unique design, making it particularly well-suited for systems where aesthetics are just as important as powerful bass.
The reinforced paper cone, with its distinctive 3D honeycomb structure, offers high stability and supports controlled bass reproduction even during large excursions. A long-throw sandwich surround enables the necessary cone excursion. The sturdy Ground Zero steel basket provides a low-resonance base for the entire driver.
A 63-mm copper voice coil is used to drive the subwoofer. Combined with the two-layer Polycot-Conex suspension, the subwoofer is designed to withstand high mechanical and electrical loads. The dual 2-ohm voice coil also allows for various connection options and makes it easier to tune the subwoofer to high-performance car audio power amplifiers.
With a 600-watt RMS power handling capacity and up to 1,000 watts SPL, the GZIW 12XSPL-D2 PINK offers plenty of power headroom for bass-heavy sound systems. Ground Zero recommends an amplifier power output between 500 and 1,000 watts
