The Phoenix Gold ZONE122 Limited Edition is a no-compromise 12-inch subwoofer designed for high-performance car audio and SPL systems. With a power handling capacity of 2,000 watts RMS and up to 6,000 watts of peak power, the ZONE122 is designed for users who want to combine high sound pressure levels, powerful low-frequency bass, and enormous power reserves.

For the ZONE122, Phoenix Gold relies on a particularly robust driver with a triple-stacked magnet system and a large 75-mm voice coil (3"). The dual-voice-coil design with 2 × 2 ohms allows for flexible wiring and is therefore ideal for use with high-power mono power amplifiers.

The ZONE122 is also mechanically designed to handle high loads. A sturdy aluminum basket forms the base of the speaker. The high-profile foam surround allows for large cone excursions, while the stitched connection between the surround and the cone provides additional stability at high volume levels. An unpressed paper cone is used—a proven design for a dynamic and powerful bass response.

With a resonant frequency of approximately 33.95 Hz, a Qts of 0.422, and a moving mass of 374.2 g, the ZONE122 meets the requirements for high-performance subwoofer enclosures. Large push terminals ensure a secure connection for the speaker cables.

Another unique feature is its rarity: According to Phoenix Gold, the ZONE122 was limited to just 100 units. This makes it not only an exceptionally powerful subwoofer, but also an intriguing component for Phoenix Gold enthusiasts and special car audio projects.
