Phoenix Gold ZMAX122

The Phoenix Gold ZMAX122 is a 30-cm subwoofer designed without compromise for high volume levels and powerful low-frequency bass. With a power handling capacity of 1,500 watts RMS and up to 4,500 watts of peak power, it offers ample power reserves for demanding car audio and SPL setups.

A generously sized 75-mm voice coil, combined with a particularly powerful 195-oz magnet system, provides the necessary drive. The tall surround allows for a large cone excursion and helps the ZMAX122 operate in a controlled manner even at high volume levels. A stitched surround further increases the speaker’s mechanical durability.

Thanks to its dual 2-ohm voice coil (2 × 2 ohms), the subwoofer can be flexibly paired with high-power mono power amplifiers. The sturdy push terminals ensure a secure and straightforward connection.

With a linear Xmax of 16.5 mm, a resonance frequency of 33.5 Hz, and a cone area of approximately 511 cm², the ZMAX122 delivers the performance needed for powerful bass reproduction. This woofer is therefore particularly suited for users who prioritize high sound pressure levels, high power handling, and a massive bass presence.
