Thanks to their qualities, the SIGNUM subwoofers in the ESX range have become an insider tip: In terms of sound, they offer excellent results, have a very high-quality finish and are well equipped. This also applies to the new SXE subwoofers, which are particularly effective in bass reflex speakers. A particular highlight is the supplied, pre-assembled and extremely stable protective grille. It not only protects the cone from damage, but is also visually appealing thanks to its hexagonal honeycomb pattern and curved structure. And fortunately, there is no need to spend money on extra grilles, which makes the SXE woofers particularly attractive in terms of price.

The successful appearance of the SIGNUM SXE subwoofers not only includes the pre-assembled protective grilles, but also the high-quality die-cast aluminum baskets. Not only do they look good, they also significantly improve the stability of the design. There are practically no vibrations in the material.

An important aspect of subwoofers is the drive unit, which is also very generous in the SXE models: heavy double magnets are used in all three sizes, which in turn drive long-wound double voice coils with 2+2 Ohm impedance. The dual voice coils used make the subwoofers very versatile: whether connected to a 1-ohm stable monoblock or to conventional 2- or 4-channel power amplifiers, the woofers fit very well to pretty much all amplifiers on the market thanks to their variable impedance.
