The Ground Zero GZUW 10SQ-D2 from the URANIUM series is a high-quality 25-cm subwoofer designed specifically for precise and controlled bass reproduction. This makes it particularly well-suited for car audio systems that require not only a powerful low-frequency foundation but also sound quality and clean impulse response.

The formed and pressed paper cone combines a comparatively low weight with the mechanical properties required for a subwoofer. A U-shaped foam surround allows for the necessary cone movement. The audiophile Polycot centering system ensures stable guidance. The solid cast aluminum basket provides a torsionally rigid base for the entire drive system.

At the heart of the GZUW 10SQ-D2 is a 50-mm copper voice coil. With a 450-watt RMS power handling capacity and a recommended amplifier power of 300 to 600 watts RMS, the woofer offers ample headroom for high-end sound quality systems. The 2 x 2-ohm dual voice coils also provide flexible connection options. The two voice coils can be connected to achieve a total impedance of 1 or 4 ohms, depending on the system configuration.

With a maximum linear excursion of 20 mm (Xmax), a resonance frequency of 40.2 Hz, and carefully tuned Thiele-Small parameters, the GZUW 10SQ-D2 provides a solid foundation for custom-designed subwoofer enclosures
