HiFonics ZEUS Evo Series

The new HiFonics ZEUS EVOLUTION ZXE amplifiers already have highly functional features such as high-level inputs with EPS, automatic switch-on, start/stop capability, phase shift, subsonic filter, bass boost, bass level remote control and are therefore perfectly equipped for use in modern car hi-fi systems. Three digital mono amplifiers extend the multi-channel program for subwoofer applications. The master/slave function is another equipment highlight on board. If the power of one amplifier is not sufficient, a second, identical ZEUS ZXE amplifier can be used and connected via an RCA cable. Now the first amplifier acts as a controller and takes over the control of the second amplifier. The highlight here is that the output is doubled. The brushed, gray aluminum heat sink is a feast for the eyes in itself. The black cast aluminum end caps further underline the quality of the ZEUS EVOLUTION ZXE series. The illuminated HiFonics logo, which can be switched from blue to white, is a visual highlight. But not only the logo is illuminated, the power and speaker connections also shine in HiFonics blue and provide a further visual highlight.

What subwoofer configurations can I use with the HiFonics ZXE4000/1?

This mono power amplifier offers extreme flexibility when it comes to choosing a subwoofer. You can connect a single 1-ohm subwoofer, two 2-ohm subwoofers in parallel, or four 4-ohm speakers in parallel. How does the HiFonics amplifier’s start-stop function work?

The Error Protection System (EPS) provides comprehensive protection for your amplifier against overheating, short circuits and overloads. In the event of a critical fault, the power amplifier switches off automatically and the status LED indicates the fault condition.
