AudioControl EPIC2000

The AudioControl EPIC2000 is a high-performance mono power amplifier designed specifically to drive high-performance subwoofer systems in vehicles. With an RMS output power of up to 2,000 watts into 1 ohm, this compact monoblock combines high power reserves with extensive adjustment options for precise bass reproduction.

The highly efficient Class D circuit enables high output power despite its relatively compact dimensions. The EPIC2000 operates stably up to a load impedance of 1 ohm, making it suitable for both individual high-power subwoofers and appropriately configured multi-subwoofer systems.

A variable Linkwitz-Riley low-pass filter and an adjustable subsonic filter, each with a slope of 12 dB/octave, are available for tuning to subwoofers and enclosures. In addition, EPICBoost™ enables targeted bass boost of up to 12 dB. The center frequency of the boost can also be set between 30 and 80 Hz.

A unique feature of the EPIC2000 is the ability to link two amplifiers together. In strapped mode, a combined RMS power of up to 4,000 watts is available at 2 ohms. This allows the system to be expanded accordingly for particularly power-intensive subwoofer applications.

The AudioControl ACR-E wired remote control included in the package allows you to conveniently adjust the subwoofer level from the driver's seat. The included Epicenter Link makes it particularly easy to connect the amplifier to a compatible AudioControl The Epicenter bass processor.

Heavy-duty screw terminals for the power supply and speakers ensure a reliable electrical connection. An intelligent auto-reset protection system monitors the amplifier for, among other things, overcurrent, overvoltage and undervoltage, DC voltage at the output, and excessive operating temperature.
