AudioControl EPIC1000

The AudioControl EPIC1000 is a compact mono amplifier designed for high-performance in-vehicle subwoofer systems. With up to 1,000 watts RMS at 1 ohm, it offers ample power reserves for demanding bass applications without taking up unnecessary space during installation.

Its Class D circuit combines high output power with a compact and thermally efficient design. The EPIC1000 is stable down to an impedance of 1 ohm, making it suitable for subwoofer configurations that require high power at low impedance.

The subwoofer can be tuned using a variable Linkwitz-Riley low-pass filter and an adjustable subsonic filter. In addition, the amplifier features EPICBoost™. This allows you to selectively boost the bass range between 30 and 80 Hz by up to 12 dB.

Of particular interest for larger systems is the ability to daisy-chain two EPIC1000 units. In daisy-chain mode, this provides up to 2,000 watts RMS at 2 ohms.

The amplifier can also be connected directly to a compatible AudioControl The Epicenter bass processor via the The Epicenter® Link. The wired ACR-E level remote control is included in the package for convenient adjustment of the subwoofer level from the driver's seat.
