SPL is not just about installing a few midrange drivers and horn tweeters to wake up the neighbors in the next neighborhood, SPL can sound absolutely brute as well as loud. Unlike conventional car hi-fi PA speakers, the Typhon series already has a very low self-resonance, which allows a deeper separation than usual and significantly improves the fundamental tone. In addition, the low resonance frequency gives the speaker significantly more punch.
Power of the PA cone
The pressed paper cone of the Typhon series is designed to reproduce your music as loudly as possible. Despite its low weight, the cone is designed to be stable and to play without deforming and to hit hard. The curved surround enables a linear excursion and pleasant frequency response.
