The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The REF8W reference system from the Danish manufacturer promises enormously high-resolution sound reproduction in the bass range and, as a mid-bass speaker, enables many constellations to get sufficient low bass out of the door. The speaker can be used in both 2-way and 3-way systems thanks to the chosen design, while the low resonance frequency enables a deep separation. The lightweight suspension allows the REF8W speakers to play at low volumes without noticeable losses in the low frequency range.
The REF8W 8-inch woofer uses a paper cone enriched with carbon fibers, this combination improves the audio reproduction enormously. The combination of paper and carbon sounds more natural and direct and gives the lower frequency ranges (<250 Hz) more warmth and precession. The cone also increases rigidity without adding unnecessary weight. Another advantage is that the mechanical limits of the loudspeaker are kept linear.
