The RIOT-PA series by B² Audio is the entry-level series for bass enthusiasts, a series that already meets a high standard in terms of technology and functionality. The Pro Audio speakers set a new standard and are considered extremely high in SPL (sound pressure level).
The Pro Audio series by B² Audio is an extremely efficient speaker series; even with low power, enormous SPL levels can be achieved without perceptible loss of sound quality.
The RIOT8P come into play when the bass level is too extreme, where conventional systems can no longer keep up. The perfect complement to these are the RAGE Pro Audio tweeters; with their horn construction, these tweeters are the perfect combination to withstand the SPL levels.
Due to the centrally positioned phase plug, these speakers experience an additional SPL boost in the upper frequency range, allowing for a very simple and pleasant integration with the tweeter. Despite their low moving mass and therefore very light construction, the RIOT8P practically measure up to ~110Hz and effectively reach up to 5.5kHz, which allows for a comfortable 2-way combination for PA speakers.
Due to the special membrane coating, all B² Audio PA components are splash-proof and are often used in sound reinforcement systems, motorcycles, or any other outdoor areas, avoiding the typical paper membrane's vulnerability to softening when wet.
