The ASX series, with its unique design and high-quality construction, is an absolute price/performance monster. A big advantage of these huge cars is the massive carbon membrane, which has little difference in weight compared to conventional membranes, although there is one in operation delivers a huge difference in performance. The rigid membrane means that there are hardly any turns during operation, which makes playback much more precise and, above all, provides a significant boost in the deep bass range. The large 4" (100mm) coil also allows for enormous performance in continuous operation and the large 250mm drive ensures a lot of magnetic force.
With With a whopping 3,500 watts RMS and 7,000 watts peak power, the ASX series can handle sufficient amplifier power.
