The Audison APBX 8 R is a compact bass reflex enclosure subwoofer from the Prima series and has been specially developed for powerful bass reproduction with minimal space requirements. With its flat cabinet design and highly efficient 8-inch subwoofer, the system is ideal for modern vehicle concepts where installation space and sound quality are equally important.
The tuned reflex enclosure concentrates the bass reproduction specifically on the lowest frequency ranges and makes optimum use of the so-called cabin gain characteristic of many vehicles. As a result, the APBX 8 R produces a powerful and precise low-frequency range without taking up unnecessary installation space.
The integrated 8-inch subwoofer with 4-ohm voice coil has a powerful drive unit and a specially developed cone geometry for high control and linear excursion. The ultra-flat cabinet allows for flexible installation in the trunk, while the 2S² design allows for different mounting positions - either for more low bass or additional punch and precision.
The SSP (Sub Smart Plug) connection system allows the speaker to be connected or removed quickly and safely. The concept is complemented by robust materials, a sturdy protective grille and vibration-optimized housing shapes for a clean and controlled bass performance in everyday life.
